Shelby Hawkins received a B.A degree in Religious Studies from Davidson College in North Carolina. She went on to graduate with an M.S. in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

She uses a variety of strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy when working with couples and children. Her passion is to see relationships reconciled and people experiencing the fullness of life.

Shelby was born and raised in North Carolina. She married her husband, Weston, in 2016, and the pair moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. In her free time, Shelby enjoys traveling, long-distance running, and exploring all Corpus Christi has to offer with her husband and their dog, Sadie.
