Her current specialties include spiritual exploration and growth, women’s holistic health, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Emma has a heart for young and single mothers as well as women struggling with sexual impulse control and addiction and also couples with relationship difficulties. She utilizes an eclectic therapy approach, integrating different interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Story Informed Trauma Therapy (SITT) depending on the client’s needs.
“When bad things happen to us, we often throw them in our own private “dumpster” and we say, I’ll deal with that later,’ only to keep piling more hurt and more garbage on top, never truly healing. My goal is to help you open up that lid, climb in the dumpster with you, and help you sort through the mess. Because there is always redemption available in every person’s life, in every situation. It is not always easy, but I promise to sit with you in the mess and help you make sense of it all. It is my deep desire that together we can help you regain purpose, fulfillment, and connection.” - Emma Hopper
